Mar. 26, 2013
Accounting and business management developer Intacct has been named as a finalist for a Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) CODiE Award in the “Best Financial Management Solution” category. Intacct has won this category twice previously. The SIIA CODiE Awards are the premier award for the software and information industries, and have been recognizing product excellence for 27 years.
The CODiE Awards, originally called the Excellence in Software Awards, were established in 1986 by the Software Publishers Association (SPA), now the SIIA, so that pioneers of the software industry could evaluate and honor each other’s work. The winners of the 2013 awards will be announced in early May at the All About the Cloud conference, after final voting is conducted by SIIA members.
More than 6,000 organizations from startups to public companies use Intacct to maximize the speed and efficiency of their financial management processes and gain real-time visibility into the key financial and operational metrics of their business. Intacct’s best-in-class cloud financial management and accounting software provides these organizations with the increased efficiency and faster insights required to drive continued growth.
“As a previous CODiE Award winner in the Best Financial Management Solution category, it is quite an honor to be a finalist again this year,” said Robert Reid, president and CEO of Intacct. “We continue to drive new enhancements into the Intacct system to put the information and insight CFOs need at their fingertips, helping them transform their business and drive accelerated growth. We are pleased the judges recognized the outstanding benefits Intacct provides to our clients.”
“The CODiE Awards competition was extremely competitive this year, and all of the finalists should be commended for their innovative products and services,” said Rhianna Collier, vice president of the Software Division at SIIA. “We look forward to honoring the winners at our awards program in May at All About the Cloud.”
This year there were 27 software categories, including twelve new and updated categories that reflect the continued growth and evolution of cloud computing, mobile, big data, and video. CODiE Award finalists in the software categories were selected from several hundred nominated solutions. These products underwent an intensive review by subject matter experts, analysts, journalists, and others with deep experience in the field to determine the finalists.
